“Rumour is that some of you are sceptical about beer that comes in cans… It’s time to set the record straight and put to rest any outdated concerns once and for all. Canned beer is just as good as beer that comes in bottles, and the benefits of canned brews are plentiful.”
“Canning craft beer is a trend that began in the US back in 2002, when Colorado based brewery, Oskar Blues, decided to say goodbye to bottles.”
“Today, many of the world’s best breweries are making the shift from bottles to cans.”
“Breweries are investing heavily in canning lines, and they’re certainly not cutting corners.”
“[…] bottles continue to be the dominant package chosen by craft brewers, but that dominance has continued to ebb.”
“[…] bottles still clearly outsell cans, but the can percentage has continued to rise. Note that the percentage rise isn’t because of a decline in bottle sales (which have continued to climb), but simply because the increase in can sales has been faster than the increase in bottle sales.”
“We’ve been keeping this under wraps for quite some time, but it seems we’re already “leaking”information. Probably out of excitement (wink-wink). Time to come clean: WE’RE SWITCHING TO CANS!”
